Lest you believe Mary was traumatized by six and a half hours of crying at summer camp, she came home the last day acting like a big hot shot.
She was super proud of the clown collar she had made.
David, on the other hand, was uncomfortable with the clown collar. He wouldn't go near her, and he kept telling me, "I don't like Mary in that. I want her to be regular Mary." (Coulrophobia, perhaps?)
