We had a fun morning at Liberty Park. The Seven Canyons fountain was broken, which meant the water was contained to the pool at the bottom. I found this to be a great bonus, as my kids weren't running all over tarnation to the different water falls, and I could spend my morning on my rear end, chatting with my sister-in-law and my mom.
I was disappointed to see that very few of the pictures I took had the cousins in them. But I promise they were all there--and that all the kids were having fun together. (Except when David went to beg food from other moms and Mary was scrounging for pretzel crumbs in other people's strollers. And, yes, I fed my children breakfast.) Fortunately, my sister-in-law sent me some pictures of David and his cousin.
Afterwards we had lunch at Wendy's, where David ate his entire meal and most of his cousin's too. Mary, meanwhile, in typical fashion, took 8 years to eat. And the baby had a blast trying to grab everything off the table.
It was great fun.
And we hope many cousins pass through Texas this next year!
